TERMS & CONDITIONS

~ Reserve your Travel Dates today ~ We look forward to your visit ~

Payments & Deposits:

  1. The Tour Stops Here ® requires a non-refundable deposit of €700.00 for full disclosure of organizing your itinerary.                                                               Your chosen Itinerary is sent by email after the deposit is received. No exceptions.
  2. This is done by calling Aaron on WhatsApp and either making payments thru PayPal (https://www.paypal.com/us/home) or a transfer bank to bank (also available is the Wise bank platform).
  3. Both € Euros and US$ Dollar accounts are available for your convenience. 
  4. Aaron will provide you all the bank details. Sorry we do not take Credit Cards at this time.
  5. Payment in Full is expected prior to your arrival date.
  6. Confirmation of Travel Dates.  Your Deposit secures your dates of travel. Date changes once confirmed are not changeable.                                                      (With the exception of flight delays for arrival times to Lisbon beyond anyone’s control.) 

Note: You must pay your entire balance prior to the start of your travel.  Once in Lisboa that is with Cash only and in Euros only.  

Refunds & Cancellation:

Non-Refundable:

                            The Tour Stops Here ® requires a non-refundable deposit of €700.00 for full disclosure of organizing your itinerary.

Refundable:

  1. Any payments/deposits for your booked tour dates are partially refundable * 21 days or more (prior) of your arrival date.                   A  €150.00 per person Cancellation Fee applies.
  2. Any payments/deposits for your booked tour dates are partially refundable * 20 days or less (prior) of your arrival date.         A  €250.00 per person Cancellation Fee applies.
  3. There is zero refund (no refund) if you cancel on the day of your arrival/expected date of departure of your booked tour.

 *  for clarification: ‘partially refundable’ =  your combined total Deposit amounts  – less the Non-Refundable €700.00 –  less the total Cancellation Fees.

Travel & Health Insurance are NOT included:

  1. We do NOT sell or offer any travel or health Insurance of any type. Therefore, The Tour Stops Here ® is not and cannot be responsible for the trave/heath insurance company’s actions or in-actions or any grievances that arrive due to their policies.
  2. We recommend you purchase travel and/or health Insurance coverage of your choosing, prior to your trip to Portugal.
  3. While we plan for (and expect) everything to go right for you, no one knows for sure what might go wrong on a trip abroad. 
  4. There are many variables to consider, and by you having travel and/or health insurance, this will give you, your travel companions  and friends peace of mind.

Excluded from Your Tour(s) Package:

  1. Costs of travel and/or health insurance, visas (non-issuance), airfares; any increase in airfares or visa expenses. Taxes on these mentioned services.
  2. Any additional services that are not mentioned in the itinerary or stays.
  3. Any vaccination or other health tests, lab tests required or introduced on your stay.
  4. Any personal items; expenses, or costs incurred and not limited to, incidentals, all shopping, additional meals, additional alcohol or drinks, etc.
  5. Any additional days to your trip itinerary to Portugal and/or Spain…simply any additional days outside the The Tour Stops Here ® disclosed planned itinerary.

Car Rental at Lisbon Airport:

  1. Aaron will help organize which vehicle you use; Car or Van Rental; depending on the client’s needs.  
  2.  Car/Van Rentals are available here through the Lisbon Airport location (easiest and usually the most affordable).
  3.  For all Car/Van Rentals. Please notice these following terms are unconditional and non-negotiable a) the Client agrees and I will purchase on their behalf, the ‘super coverage’ insurance for the vehicle,  b) Client will add one (1) alternate driver (must  have a valid, non-expired driver’s license) to the contract.   
  4. Depending on the size of your party traveling, and the custom tour you would like to experience,  I am happy to share with you all of your options.  

Additional Terms & Conditions, Walking Tours:

  1. The Tour Stops Here ® will only provide organizational services listed on the website along with the agreed itinerary. Anything above these services can and would require additional charges (a written estimate is available upon request).
  2. The Tour Stops Here ® is not responsible for any damages and/or losses during the trip, including, but not limited too, lost , misplaced or stolen handbags, roll-a-way bags, luggage/baggage, lost ID’s or passports, ticket cancellation, and the like. 
  3. The Clients agree that their Customized Travel choice will only be enforceable once the The Tour Stops Here ® has been paid for the total itinerary. Any disputes or grievances that may arise will be addressed according to Lisboa, Portugal local laws and jurisdictions.
  4. The Tour Stops Here ® is not and cannot be responsible for the Clients in cases of a sudden war, a major calamity, or acts of G-d.
  5. At The Tour Stops Here ® clients must a) provide in writing their confirm dates of travel b) define the size of their travel party at the time of booking. While the design and planning of your tour is solely for you, often some activities, drives, stays, stops & excursions may be frequented by other tourists, authorities or local people.
  6.  The Tour Stops Here ® always reserves the right to adjust prices or fees accordingly and only in writing – they are always subject to change. 
  7. The Tour Stops Here ®  follows the rules and responsibilities of the Turismo de Portugal (Portugal’s National Tourism Authority). For example, at every accommodation you will be asked to provide your passport for their records. 
  8. Walking Tours –  Payable at time of Scheduled walk(s). All Non-Refundable. See Excluded from your Tour(s) Package above, these exclusions are applicable here too. Please Note: Aaron cannot be responsible for the condition of his client’s health or physical abilities. If for some reason you cannot complete the walk, or, have some minor injury along the way,  travel or health insurance would be strongly advisable prior to your arrival to Lisbon, and, as applicable and described above, insurance in any form is NOT provided by The Tour Stops Here ®.  The ‘Fine Print’ of section of The Tour Stops Here ® website is applicable on all the Walking Tours, et al.
